My pick for Magazine of the Month is Mushing!! This is a great magazine to help get you more acquainted with dog powered sports and more specifically, mushing! There's stories of people's mushing adventures, competitive sledding news, individual focuses on different areas that are great for mushing and why, highlights on some of competitive drivers, highlights on the various races, and of course, information on training, conditioning, and all things sled dog. I really enjoy this magazine! It's just another way for me to get enthusiastic about skijoring (there are occasional tid bits about skijoring in some issues). It also kind of makes me want a siberian or malamute.LOL

Speaking of skijoring, Skijor With Your Dog, the first full-length book on the sport, is back in print. Available from University of Chicago Press, and eventually (I fervently hope), it'll get back on Amazon.com.
