Nada.....

Wellllll....today we had a whole lot of nothin' at the dog show.:( That's just the way it goes. We've got another dog show next weekend in Monroe, WA that's a major in bitches as long as everyone shows up. Then two weeks "off" and another small show in Ridgefield. After that it's nothing until the almighty Rose City Classic! That's going to be a doosey of a show! Until then, we've got our fingers crossed for some more points.

While we were at the dog show we were able to watch my friend Andrea and her bull mastiff Brody in the rally ring again. And we are very happy to announce that they got their third and final leg for their Rally Advanced title!! Yay for Andrea and Brody!! I was very happy to be there and able to watch them accomplish this.:)

Not much else has been going on with us otherwise. It's been raining like crazy, but I've managed to squeak out work outs for the dogs during rain breaks. The only good thing about all this rain down at this elevation is all the snow that's accumulating up on the mountain! I can hardly wait to get up there and do some skijoring, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing!!

Congratulations to your friend!

How many bitches does it take to make a major in your region? We're up to nine for a 3-point major, and people are constantly breaking them.

Good luck at the upcoming shows!

I believe that it takes 12 for a 3 point major. And with the flu going around the way it is right now, you're just not guaranteed that it will stay a major. The count for this weekend is exactly 12 bitches and I have a bad feeling that it's going to break.:(
