Today was another good day for rally for Bess and I! Because I wasn't running in between rings this morning, we had enough time to set up our crate in the obedience building and chill for a bit before we were up. However, I think that actually wasn't the best thing for us. Bess was pretty up yesterday. She had fun running with me in between rings and I think she kind of fed off of my being a bit rattled, but in a good way. Today she did a bit of lagging and wasn't quite as prompt with things as she was yesterday. She still did a great job though! And I didn't majorly screw anything up for us today!;o) We ended up with a score of 91 and got second place again! Today's judge was a real stickler for everything. There were point deductions for any sniffing by the dog of anything, any lagging, forging, crowding, and being out of position.

As you can tell from the picture, the rosette's were nice and big for placements.:) I tried tracking down our ribbons from yesterday and had no luck. I was going back and forth between the ring stewards and the superintendent's booth and no one seemed to know where my ribbon was. After a bit the stewards remembered that someone collected my ribbons for me saying that they were a friend of mine and would see me. However, I have absolutely no idea who that person is. As far as I'm aware, everyone that I know who was going to be there was ringside for danes. Hopefully the mystery will resolve itself and we can get our pretty ribbon!

Heffner is also doing much better! The swelling has gone way down and he's almost back to normal now. I was able to take the dogs out today after we got home for some running about. They both really needed it! Heffner was tired of being cooped up and ditched, and Bess was tired of being restricted on her activities.

Beautiful ribbons and way to go for your second rally novice leg. Whoohoo! Glad Heff is de-swelling from his manhood trauma. Yikes. ;-D
