My pick for Magazine of the Month is Front and Finish!!! This is an obedience focused magazine with tons of great articles. There are individual highlights on different dogs who have accomplished different things. There are tons of training articles. There's coverage of various obedience trials such as the AKC National Obedience Invitational. It's just all things obedience and I've really enjoyed it so far! This is a magazine that I personally have a subscription to. While I haven't seen it sold at general pet stores, I wouldn't be horribly surprised if select training facilities sell it.

Magazine of the Month
My pick for Magazine of the Month is Front and Finish!!! This is an obedience focused magazine with tons of great articles. I don't have a subscription to this and don't know if I ever will based upon the yahoo group. It's fine to be a "traditional" based magazine and I can learn a ton from it, but it is not fine for the editor of the magazine to completely blame "positive" training for stay issues. The discussion has turned into something really interesting but it really put me off how forceful his original email was.
Yikes! I didn't join the yahoo group, but I think I may know what you're talking about on the stay topic. There was an article talking about that in one of the issues, though what the author was talking about was a dog that broke it's stay and jumped into an adjoining ring and attacked another much smaller dog.
