D'Oh!

I took several pictures today on our soon to no longer be traditional Friday hikes, and after I uploaded the pictures I accidentally deleted ALL of them! D'oh! I hate it when I do that (obviously not the first time). I had some lovely pictures that I was going to include on this post, but instead I'll include a few pictures I took of the dogs on an outing this time last year. Please take note of how FILTHY they are!

In case anyone is wondering, I saw the midnight showing of New Moon last night and it was GREAT!! Loved the movie! I was so happy because I really love the books but really didn't like the first movie. And Taylor Lautner......he he he......shirtless.....he he he......one word, yummy!>:o)

Tonight we've got agility league and during the "down time" until we need to leave for that, I have the pleasure of starting to process all of that wonderful meat! Bleck! On the up side, since it's colder out, the meat isn't thawing very fast. On the down side, since it's colder out, the meat isn't thawing very fast. I don't expect to get a whole lot done today. Just picking away at the outer layers of each of the blocks-o-meat-parts.

Tomorrow my mom is coming up and we're doing our annual kick off to the holidays shopping!! I can't wait!! We're going to hit up some of our favorite stores for Christmas decorations, eat lunch at Honey Bake Ham, and finish everything off by stopping at JoAnn's Fabrics to pick up some material to make Christmas coats for the dogs!! I'm also hoping that I'll have time in the evening to get down all of the many boxes of Christmas decorations so that I can be all set and ready to start decorating after Thanksgiving!!

I like the area...the pics of the dogs jumping that creek are awesome!

Christmas coats - what a great idea! I've been wanting to make Vegas's some additional outerwear but haven't taken the time. Do you have a pattern or are you "copying" an existing coat?

Have fun at league tonight. The courses are a bit interesting but fun.

I use an existing coat as our "pattern." I'm not skilled at all when it comes to sewing! We actually made them some Halloween coats last year that I didn't get a chance to pull out this year. I'm planning on them wearing the coats for the PIR Holiday Lights!

I haven't even looked at the courses yet! I should probably do that!

Love the pics...Falkor firmly believes that how dirty you get is directly related to how much fun you had. :)

It is almost scary how much we have in common Lindsay. LOL I am SO jealous you got to see New Moon but I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed it so much. We are going to see next weekend and I can hardly stand to wait. Taylor is HOT in this one. He packed on major muscles! Yummy is right. :)

Have fun shopping too! I don't have any girlfriends here that enjoy shopping an my Mom lives 10 hours away. Booo!

But of course they are muddy. That's what we LOVE to do, just to watch our humans react in horror.

Hmmmm....Looks like a Dane can travel about four miles in one step...fording rivers...galloping across the tundra...kinda makes a terrier jealous!
