Web Site of the Month

It's that time of year again! The temperatures are dropping and I'm starting to get the dogs geared up for the skijoring season. One of the two methods I use to get my guys into shape for pulling and to start building up their miles without having to drive up to the mountain several times a week, is by scootering! I'll post more about this later on, including video I have of the dogs pulling the scooter. I thought it would be appropriate this month to feature Dog Scooter.com since I'm going to be talking a fair bit about scootering this month and pulling sports in general in the upcoming months!! I'm sooooooo excited!

And I'm totally getting ahead of myself!:o) If you're wondering what I'm talking about, just check out the web site. There are links to different types of dog scooters and sulkies, training tips, helpful videos, links, and a whole bunch more information just waiting for you! It's a very fun sport that gets both you and your dog out and about. Want a tired dog, but want to alter how much effort you have to put out (especially if you have more than one dog!)? Try a pulling sport!

Like I said, there will be more on this general topic in upcoming posts!

I forgot to tell you! I took Vegas out with her new harness just the other day...I was on foot and I had her hooked to my son's bike. Let's just say it's going to be interesting getting her to go out ahead of her mama! LOL
