Lazy Saturday....And We've Been Tagged!

We're having a wonderful lazy Saturday at my house! The day started off with an agility match that I took Bess to. As I've mentioned before, Heffner gets the summer off from trials and matches (but not classes!) because he isn't very heat tolerant. I was bad and took Das Boot off so that I could "run" the course with Bess. Because I've had it on for a little over three weeks now, I walk funny without it on. My balance is a bit better, but the muscles and tendons have adapted to the way I need to move with Das Boot on. So running the course was more akward than I had expected. And with Bess, when I slow down, she slows down with me. Otherwise, both of our runs were pretty decent. No zoomies this time! I am a little worried though because we have a trial coming up in two weeks. I get Das Boot off (theoretically) two days before the trial. I'm hoping that that's enough time to get more into the swing of things, but also not over do it.


Then we came home and I had some things around the house to get done. Like two weeks worth of laundry to fold. I was REALLY dreading that! After that, it was time to study. I'm studying to take the VTNE exam in Janu. to become a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT).


It's been a very unchaotic day!:O) We have a few friends coming over in the evening to cap the day off.

Here goes!

I wanted to pick a picture that included both dogs, so I dug into the folder for the month that we brought Bess home. This is Heffner and Bess rough housing during a game of bitey face that got a lot more active. What you can't tell from this picture is that this was only the third day that she had been living with us. As you can see, she fit in VERY WELL and got along fabulously with Heffner because she wanted to play ALL THE TIME! At that moment you can see that her paw is on the down stroke of thwacking himin the face. Her favorite move!
