Web Site of the Month and more...

My pick for the web site of the month is the official DockDogs national web site! There's all sorts of information on there about events that are going on throughout the US. Who's ranked where in what. Some tips on training (which I have definitely been reading, just a matter of putting it into action!). A forum to discuss dockdog related things. And of course a page of pictures and videos!!

Things are really starting to heat up here with tempartures near 90 yesterday and going to hit in that range today, tomorrow, and Sun. This means that I have to get up early and get my rear in gear in order to take the dogs out to stretch and get some much needed exercise. My cousin Dylan is down this weekend from Ft. Lewis and we went on a relatively early hike before things started heating up. It's not a very strenuous hike (and not my pick for my hike of the month), but it's shaded, at a higher elevation, and infrequently used by other people. Pretty much perfect for me to take the dogs out on, which is why it's in my regular rotation of smaller trails to take the dogs on each week. Here are some pictures from the hike!

Where did you go? I like the idea of a trail that's being used infrequently..

Larch Mountain! There's supposed to be a Larch Mountain on the WA side of the Colombia, but I haven't been there yet.
